Curious fact from life

Once, during the petrogliph search expedition in the Siberian steppes, we were stranded in a remote place with no connection to the outside world due to heavy rain. Soon our supply of drinking water ran out, and we had to get water from a local pond. Whatever you tried to make with that water turned out to be soup. You probably know why.
