I try to include both the fun, exercise and spiritual elements: I love taking my kids to school and kindergarten on our family cargo bike - it’s a great way to start the day and gives me a chance to think about work-related tasks while getting a little exercise and enjoying the weather.

I did my Ph.D. at “Hokudai” University in Sapporo/Hokkaido - the northernmost and most boreal island of Japan.
