Bio

My name is Lawrence. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Management from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I then completed a double Master’s degree in Spatial and Ecological Modeling from the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Lleida, Spain. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Hydrology at the University of Nevada, Reno. I have a strong interest in fire-related research, especially the application of modeling and remote sensing techniques to understand fire behavior and how it affects water quality, which has been central to research activities.

Hobbies

I spend significant amounts of time indoors reading history books.

Book recommendation

I got Writing Science by Joshua Schimel as a gift from my supervisor, and I will highly recommend it to young scientists who want to combine the complexity of science with simplistic presentations to facilitate better understanding by the audience.
